MafiaM for developers

m2o is a platform: the server gives players a shared world, and everything else (the game mode, rules, economy, interfaces) is done by resources — folders with Lua scripts and HTML pages.

How it works

• Server scripts run on the server and decide what happens: who spawns where, who has how much money, which skin.
• Client scripts are downloaded by players when they connect and run in the game: interfaces, the camera, reactions to server events.
• Pages (HTML/CSS/JS) are drawn over the game by the built-in Chromium.

Players install only the launcher — everything else comes from the server.

Where to start

1. Run a server with the basic-rp example.
2. Make your own resource.
3. Add an HTML interface.
4. Look up functions in the reference on the left.
